Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
This policy explains what Portionly collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run a pre-launch waitlist, and we do not sell your personal information.
Portionly is operated by NEWGEN SOLUTIONS S.R.L. (“Portionly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy applies to getportionly.com and the tools offered on it (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect only what you give us or what is needed to operate the site:
- Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you submit so we can notify you at launch.
- Founding Member reservations. If you reserve a Founding Member spot, we record that a reservation was made. No payment card is collected and no charge is made at this stage.
- Information you enter into the tool. The Protein-Per-Bite tool runs in your browser. The protein targets and foods you enter are processed on your device and are not transmitted to or stored by our servers.
- Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may log standard request data (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) to operate and secure the Service.
We do not knowingly collect payment information, government identifiers, or precise geolocation.
2. Health-related information
Portionly is a general wellness and nutrition tool, not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity, and information you provide is generally not protected by HIPAA. Any health-related information you choose to enter into the tool (for example, a protein target) stays on your device as described above. We treat information that relates to your health as sensitive and handle it accordingly under the state laws described below.
3. How we use information
- To notify you when Portionly launches and about your reservation.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- To respond to your questions and requests.
- To comply with law and enforce our terms.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information only:
- to service providers who process data on our behalf (such as hosting and, in the future, email delivery) under confidentiality obligations;
- to comply with law, legal process, or a lawful government request;
- to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or us; and
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
5. Email communications
We send email only for the purpose you signed up for (a launch notification and reservation-related messages). Every marketing email will include an unsubscribe link, and we honor opt-outs promptly, consistent with the CAN-SPAM Act. You can also ask us to remove you at any time using the contact details below.
6. Cookies and tracking
The Service does not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics or other non-essential technologies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
7. Your U.S. privacy rights
California (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know, access, correct, and delete the personal information we hold about you, and to not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, no “Do Not Sell or Share” action is required, but you may still contact us to exercise your rights. California’s “Shine the Light” law: we do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing.
Washington “My Health My Data” Act
If you are a Washington resident (or your data is collected in Washington), you have rights regarding “consumer health data,” including the right to confirm whether we collect, share, or sell it, the right to withdraw consent, and the right to have it deleted. We do not sell consumer health data. We will not collect or share consumer health data beyond what is necessary to provide the Service without your consent.
Other U.S. states
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others) may have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling. We honor these rights where they apply.
European Union & United Kingdom (GDPR)
Because NEWGEN SOLUTIONS S.R.L. is established in the European Union, the EU and UK GDPR apply to our processing. NEWGEN SOLUTIONS S.R.L. is the data controller. Our legal basis for the waitlist and reservation is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time. Where the GDPR applies, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Romania, the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing, ANSPDCP). We rely on appropriate safeguards for any transfer of data outside the EEA.
How to exercise your rights
Email us at office@workflowtime.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by law. You may use an authorized agent where permitted. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response.
8. Data retention and security
We keep waitlist and reservation information until launch and for as long as needed for the purposes described here, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If a breach affecting health app data occurs, we will provide any notices required by the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule and applicable state law.
9. Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and never from children under 13 consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Data location
NEWGEN SOLUTIONS S.R.L. is established in Romania (EU). Depending on the service providers we use, your information may be processed in the European Union and in the United States. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
